East African Pipeline financing to close by year-end
The Petroleum Authority of Uganda says that financing for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline with offshore financiers will be concluded by the end of this year. Project works are ongoing, with financing set at a 60-40% debt-equity ratio. The revelation came to light during a tour of the oil fields, where work on key infrastructure, such as the pumping station, is under construction.
