INNOVATION WEEK: The unique start up issues
Today, innovations and start-ups are virtually inseparable and many innovations do not materialise into market-level enterprises, because of the absence of traditional financing systems or funders keen on hand-holding them. There is consensus that countries like Uganda may have to find special funding the way the US did, in order for the new wave of innovations to scale up.
