PSFU launches workforce Apprenticeship program
The PSFU has announced an apprenticeship program aimed at building a workforce with competencies that match current jobs and market standards. According to Stephen Asiimwe, the chief executive of the foundation, 800 enterprises from across the country will benefit from the program, which will be both physical and virtual. Today, according to research by UNCTAD, Uganda’s more than a million MSMEs account for 80% of the country’s GDP.
