RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY PRICES: Significant rise in Kampala central and Makindye division
The Uganda bureau of statistics is reporting a surge in residential property prices in Kampala central and Makindye division in the first three months of 2021, but the statistics agency also says there was a drop in prices in Wakiso district during the period 2020. In it’s second half of the year report for the year 2020 market performance review and 2021 outlook, knight frank noted that, the recent development and anticipated rollout of vaccines, gives hope to a quicker recovery of the economy and real estate market in general.
