SMALL BUSINESS RECOVERY FUND :Banks changing goal posts
Hundreds of beneficiaries of the small businesses recovery fund have yet to access or borrow from commercial banks largely because the majority remains informal or lack awareness of what it takes to access the funds according to Richard Patrick Byarugaba, the head of finance at Bank of Uganda. The business community however blames the red tape and lack of sufficient awareness around the facility.
