VALUE ADDITION: Soroti fruit factory rolls out mango production line
Soroti Fruit Factory has opened a new production line to specifically process local mango varieties. This is expected to reduce post-harvest losses as a result of huge production volumes. While launching the new production line, the State Minister for Cooperatives says there are plans to create production lines for citrus fruits such as oranges whose supply during peak seasons outstrips the processing plant’s demand.
