Four netted for moving 12 boxes of anti retrovirals
National Drug Authority’s Intelligence & Enforcement team have ordered the arrest of a one Ronald Kibalya Nditusawa, a health worker at Kamuli Hospital, said to have attempted to make off with 12 boxes of anti retrovirals. The consignment contains 720 tins of ARVs (64,800 doses) clearly marked Government of Uganda Not for Sale, and the suspect was reportedly delivering these to a facility in Nansana, when he was arrested with three others. Since March 2024, the NDA says they have recovered stolen government drugs worth over 2.5billion shillings!
