Ugandan and DRC legislators sign new regional cooperation deal
The Speaker of Parliament has underscored the importance of peace and security in DRC to the flourishing of trade between Uganda and Congo. Meeting a delegation of Members of Parliament from the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Speaker Anita Among, regional security is critical to enabling integration and trade growth between the two countries. In turn, the head of DRC delegation, Lambert Mende said Parliament should be the focal point for bolstering cooperation between the two countries.
