KACITA asks all traders to push a common agenda
There is growing fear among traders and business people that the failure of leaders of various trade organizations to unite and push a common agenda regarding what they describe as unfair taxation could jeopardize their efforts. Currently, the traders are pushing their various agenda under the Federation of Uganda Traders Association and Kampala City Traders Association. Thadeus Musoke, the chairman of KACITA says traders need to unite ahead of their schedule with President Museveni on May 20th over the contentious Electronic Fiscal Receipting and Invoice System, among other issues.
