Masindi sugarcane outgrowers stranded over weighbridge
Sugarcane out-grower farmers in Bunyoro are facing a serious setback after the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives ordered the closure of their weigh-bridge, halting their operations. The Bunyoro Sugarcane Farmers Cooperative has protested the action, which they describe as detrimental to their livelihood.
