PFF insists Besigye’s human rights must be respected
The People's Front for Freedom (PFF), Katonga Road formation has accused the Prisons Department of setting up stringent measures against former presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye, by blocking all special food brought to him by his supporters.The PFF asserts that the prisons authorities are now compelling Dr. Besigye to consume only prison food or face starvation. However, the Prisons Department has refuted these claims, emphasising that all incoming food is rigorously tested for safety adding that prisons provisions are safe and nutritious for all inmates.Our reporter David Ijjo has more of these details.
