PFF welcomes official party status, criticizes delayed recognition
The People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) has welcomed the Electoral Commission’s decision to formally designate the organization as an official political party, as published in the Uganda Gazette. PFF officials say this will strengthen their relationship with other opposition parties. However, as our reporter found, PFF leaders are unhappy that it took the Electoral Commission so long to grant them official status.
