1,000 medical interns face placement delays
More than 1,000 medical interns will have to wait longer for internship placements in various health centers due to budget constraints. According to officials from the Health Ministry, this year they are focusing on deploying the backlog of medical interns and senior house officers. The Ministry of Health says that the 2024 graduates will be deployed in the future, depending on the availability of funds, as Nobert Atukunda reports.
