10 dioceses of Eastern Uganda bring vibrance to Namugongo Anglican site
In an announcement at the Namugongo Anglican site during the Martyrs' Day celebration, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Dr. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, revealed a definitive step, the severing of ties with Archbishop Justin Welby of Canterbury due to his stance on homosexuality. This was a resolution of the GAFCON - the Global Anglican Future Conference that was held recently.
