Akello orders investigation into Tororo land sales
The Minister of Economic Monitoring, Beatrice Akello, has directed the State House Anti-Corruption Unit to investigate the Tororo Land Municipal Office over allegations that government land there has been sold off to individuals. Some of the land, which belongs to Uganda Railways Corporation, was given to an investor who has built a fuel station on it.
