Alur community has initiated a program to end child marriages
A section of women from the Alur community has initiated a program aimed at ending child marriages and Gender-Based Violence in the greater West Nile region. The women, under their umbrella Alur Professional Women Association Network, are specifically targeting to uplift and empower young girls through mentorship programs and bursaries.
