Butaleja floods claim one life, schools closed
The authorities in Butaleja district in eastern Uganda have confirmed the death of one person after floods ravaged the area on Wednesday night. Six sub-counties have been affected, with crops destroyed and some roads cut off. Additionally, six schools have been closed due to submerged classrooms.
