Call to implement Gulu resolutions; boycotting MPs urged to return allowances
Sticking with matters related to Gulu, the Central Government has been urged to implement the resolutions from regional sittings organized by Parliament. Legislators argue that it would be a waste of energy and resources for Parliament to extend its reach to citizens through these regional sittings if they do not benefit from the resolutions passed. Similarly, opposition legislators who have chosen to boycott the Gulu regional sittings have been urged to return the allowances given to them, as reported by Joyce Nakato.
