Chaos breaks out at the DP Delegates Conference over ballots boxes
Chaos erupted once again during the vote counting at the DP National Delegates Conference after the presiding officer, accompanied by security personnel, moved ballot boxes from the tally center to the Asamar Country Resort Main Hall. Some delegates accused the Electoral Commission of attempting to rig the election in favor of incumbent party president Norbert Mao. The presidential race includes Mao, Eria Alitia, and Buikwe South MP Dr. Michael Lulume.
