Defense ministry officials share views on Kiswahili council bill
Today, the Parliamentary Committee on Gender, labor, and Social Development is considering the creation of a Uganda National Kiswahili Council. Today they interacted with officials from the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs to get their views on the Uganda National Kiswahili Council Bill 2023 and strategies to operationalize and improve the use of Swahili as a means of communication.
