East African legislators debate supplementary budget scrutiny
East African Legislators have argued over a supplementary budget tabled before the assembly to fund unforeseen activities of the body. Uganda's representative James Kakooza wanted the East African Court of Justice to provide legal interpretation on the powers of the assembly to scrutinise budgets brought before it.
