Five children drowned in separate incidents on Christmas
As Christmas was commemorated across the country, it was a different story for residents in Busia Municipality and Jinja City who were mourning the deaths of 5 children. Three children drowned in a pond in a gold mine in Busia, while two children drowned on the shores of Lake Victoria at Masese Landing Site.
