Former FGM practitioner transforms into model farmer
A traditional Female Genital Mutilation surgeon in Amudat District has transformed her former cultural practices into becoming a model farmer in a pastoral community. Alice Chepokatekok Nagil is now an agroecology farmer, practicing climate-resilient agriculture in Loroo Sub-county, Amudat District. NTV’s Baker Ssenyonga Mulinde caught up with her.
