URA moves to group taxes for goods shipped together
The Uganda Revenue Authority has moved to streamline its groupage policy, following concerns about increasing abuse of taxation procedures by fraudulent individuals known as container leaders. Groupage cargo refers to goods belonging to different importers that are shipped together in one container, for various reasons.
