Literature experts laud Ngugi wa Thiongo
Literary enthusiasts have lauded renowned African writer and thinker Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, who died this week at the age of 87. Known for his work against colonialism and his push for the appreciation of African languages in literature, they say his legacy lives on, including at Makerere University.
