How religion has transformed Gulu
Christianity first penetrated Northern Uganda in 1903. The Church Missionary Society, a British Anglican mission society, was responsible for spreading Christianity in the region. They made Gulu their headquarters and introduced significant development in the area, which still has a great impact on the people of Gulu.
