Former VP Kiwanuka Ssekandi and other officials attend Tamale Mirundi requiem mass
Former Vice President Edward Ssekandi is among the dignitaries attending the requiem mass at St. Gyaviira Catholic Church in Bunamwaya, Makindye Sabagabo, for Joseph Tamale Mirundi, a former presidential adviser. Others are IGG Beti Olive Kamya, Minister for Kampala Minsa Kabanda and several artists.
John Ssali Ssembuya, the brother of Mirundi thanked the church for holding a requiem mass for the deceased despite his hostile statements against the church, when he was still alive.
Mirundi died yesterdady at Kisubi Hospital. He will be buried on Sunday at Kalagala, Kaliisizo, Rakai District, according to the burial program.
