Gov't pauses early retirement for scientists pending salary study
The government has paused early retirement for scientists in public service, especially those whose salaries were recently enhanced. The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Public Service, Catherine Bitarakwate, says that the scientists will have to wait longer to take early retirement until the government conducts a study on the benefits of the enhanced salaries.
