Gov't to revamp traditional schools across the country–Min. Katumba
Works Minister Edward Katumba Wamala has reiterated the government's commitment to revamp all traditional schools across the country. The call came as Gen. Katumba Wamala gave a keynote as Chief Guest during the Old Boys' homecoming at Busoga College Mwiri. The homecoming event saw hundreds of alumni return to their old school, which was founded in 1911 by the Church Missionary Society, making it 111 years, and thus one of the six oldest schools in Uganda.
