Government asked to give priority to local businesses
Business experts have asked government to give priority to local business owners when it's awarding contracts for various goods, services and projects. They say, the approach develops the economy because profits are re-invested by local business people in the economy compared to foreign firms that repatriate their profits. This was during the celebration of the entrepreneurship week in Kampala. November is the month of celebrating entrepreneurs across the globe.
