Government cautions adoption officers on complexity of service
The government is being urged to streamline data and registration systems for adopted children, as adoptive parents are frequently asked to provide biological details. With close to 50,000 children in childcare homes nationwide and only 1% getting adopted, complex legal procedures hinder the process.
