Health experts explain their support for anti-narcotics bill
The newly enacted Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control act of 2023 is meant to tame the use of intoxicants like khat commonly known as mairungi. Health experts who actively participated in the review of the law say the country will be saved from a "catastrophe" of addicted, redundant and unruly young people who seem to have more interest in the leaves.
