On a day when we are celebrating media freedom, consumer and technology trends are dramatically remodelling the landscape journalists operate in. The case is no different in Uganda. Most main stream media firms are now in a mad rush to shift to mostly online content to win back audiences. As Edward Muhumuza now reports even institutions of learning are rethinking their curricula to equip the next generation of journalists with skills required to face the future.
