Joel Ssenyonyi blames government for suddenly stopping university courses
Elsewhere, the Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi, has accused the government of poor planning, especially when university programs are suddenly scrapped from some university curricula. This usually happens without prior preparation for students, parents, and other stakeholders, who, Ssenyonyi says, are left helpless in the face of searching for employment. Ssenyonyi's call came as he attended a thanksgiving ceremony for Bukoto East MP Ronald Evans Kanyike, who graduated with a degree in Political Science and International Relations. Earlier this week, it emerged that the National Council for Higher Education has been scrapping programs from its list of accredited courses, especially after universities suddenly stop providing training.
