Joyce Bukenya turns passion for coffee into successful farming venture
From organizing tour travels to immersing herself in agriculture, Joyce Bukenya's path to coffee farming was paved by curiosity. As a tour operator, she watched visitors fall in love with the aroma of Uganda's coffee. This sparked a passion that would change the direction of her life. The tourism sector was one of the most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. With no source of income, Bukenya and her sister decided to try farming. They have never looked back.
