Makerere University implements attendance system
Makerere University students could miss out on national exams if they fail to attend at least 75% of their set lectures. This comes after the university commissioned a digital attendance and tracking system to monitor student attendance during lectures. Additionally, a biometric staff access system has been introduced to address staff absenteeism.
