Ministry lacks funds for disaster preparedness amid El Nino concerns
The Ministry of Disaster Preparedness and Refugees has no money to effect a disaster preparedness plan for areas that have been tagged as prone and risky for human life. State Minister for Disaster Preparedness Esther Anyakun says they need 135 billion shillings to mitigate the existing problems in the face of El Nino predictions.
