MP David Kalwanga tips colleagues on re-election
David Kalwanga, a Member of Parliament for Busujju County, is advising some of his fellow legislators not to dedicate most of their time to parliamentary work but to spend more time in their constituencies. The MP, who is in his second term as a legislator, says this is the only way they can be guaranteed of being voted back into the House. The former NRM independent-leaning MP says he fell out with his party, NRM, after he realized he could not achieve his aspirations within the party and is now in the opposition, allied with the National Unity Platform. NTV spoke to Kalwanga about his journey in Parliament.
