Museum to showcase stories of African women to preserve history
In commemoration of the International Women’s day, Uganda’s Femme Forte has launched a virtual museum showcasing the stories of African women, in a bid to preserve their history and celebrate their contributions. The museum, which is the first of its kind in Africa, features interactive exhibitions, oral histories, and personal stories of African women who have shaped the continent’s history through their activism, scholarship, and leadership.
