Nabweru residents move out of their homes as NEMA evicts wetland dwellers
Days after the National Environment Management Authority started demolishing structures around Lubigi wetland in Nansana, Wakiso district, residents in Nabweru are slowly moving out of their homes. Early today, we found some whose homes occupied parts of Lubigi wetland removing their property and demolishing their own houses, with the authority determined to move more people out of the wetland.
