NGO donors urge civil society to diversify
Despite the important contribution of Non-Governmental Organizations in reducing financial pressure on government through indirect support to national priorities, donor funding is now prioritizing other development programs such as climate change, human rights, and technology. Development partners like USAID are now encouraging civil society to diversify in order to maintain their relevance in economic development.
