Opposition MPs reject National Coffee Amendment Bill
Opposition MPs have today unanimously resolved to reject the National Coffee Amendment Bill 2024. The members, drawn from the NUP, UPC, FDC, and DP, among others, unanimously resolved to reject the National Coffee Amendment Bill. Led by the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi, they promised a spirited fight to prevent the merger of the Uganda Coffee Development Authority into the Ministry of Agriculture.
