Over 2,000 aspirants return primaries nomination forms
Richard Twodong, the secretary general of the ruling National Resistance Movement, says that so far, over 2,000 party supporters who intend to contest for member of parliament and district chairperson slots and picked forms to express their interest have returned them. Twodong says that they expect the numbers to rise before the exercise ends on June 30th. He, however, warned all contestants who will lose in party primaries not to dare to contest as independents.
