Peace vital for tourism growth, says Ministry
The Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife, and Antiquities has emphasized the importance of peace in the country for tourism to thrive. It has also lauded indigenous investors for their contributions toward the sector’s development, employing innovative skills to transform the Rwenzori region into a hub for cultural and adventure tourism. This was during the World Tourism Day celebrations held in Kasese, which attracted hundreds of tourists, investors, and other stakeholders.
