PMs want government to probe bodies like NEMA, NFA
A section of Opposition Members of Parliament have tasked the government to probe civil servants attached to environment protection bodies like the National Forestry Authority and the National Environment Authority who they accuse of sleeping on the job as citizens encroach on critical and gazetted spaces like swamps. The MPs say it's costly and illogical to evict citizens when institutions that have the mandate to protect gazetted spaces are sleeping on the job. They were speaking to journalists at Parliament.
