Police arrest woman accused of torturing 4-year-old in viral video
Police in Kabale have arrested Precious Tumuhirwe, who appears in videos circulating on social media showing her torturing a four-year-old girl. However, Tumuhirwe denies causing any injuries to the young girl and insists the victim fell while bathing. Police have transferred her to Kira Police Division, where she will face charges of aggravated torture, which are liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fifteen years and/or life imprisonment upon conviction, according to Juma Kirya.
