President Museveni calls for African agricultural growth
The AU Extraordinary CAADP Summit has endorsed and adopted the draft Kampala Declaration and the 10-year CAADP Strategy and Action Plan. These two documents provide a vision for transforming Africa’s agrifood systems between 2026 and 2035. In the meeting, President Museveni expressed concern over continued non-tariff trade barriers on the continent, further tipping Africa on how to become an economic superpower through agriculture.
