President Museveni calls on parents to instill hard work, African family values in children
President Museveni has urged parents to expose their children to hard work and life as a way of maintaining African family values. He was presiding over the first Family Festival organized by the government in partnership with the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda and the Global Peace Foundation. The event, held at Kololo, was aimed at celebrating interconnectedness, and deep-rooted values, and inspiring all Africans to protect, promote, and uphold the family institution and its cherished values.
