Public servants are less willing to release information - Report
The year 2020 preceding the general elections recorded an acute drop in information shared by public officials. The survey conducted by Twaweza, shows the demand for information from the citizens was high, but only half the requests were granted. Government officials blame it on COVID-19 but the rights activists say it was caused by the toxic political environment.
