Report highlights challenges in protecting human rights defenders in Uganda
The National Coalition of Human Rights Defenders Uganda has launched a report on the assessment survey of current emergency protection services for human rights defenders in Uganda. One of the key findings is the absence of a regulatory framework for human rights defenders' protection services, and the over-reliance on donor funding poses critical challenges to sustainability.
